Restaurant style-dining:

Serving residents from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily, with menu options ranging from full meals to light snacks, at Overlake you can have it all.

The extensive offerings include both a set menu and daily lunch and dinner features, all prepared in house by a talented team of chefs who emphasize fresh, seasonal and locally sourced ingredients.

With the fast-approaching strawberry season, for example, residents can expect to see the sweet berries featured in an array of delicious dishes, dessert and salads.

While the menu selection can be overwhelming for some, Chef Grant Svoboda is happy to walk residents through the offerings, and what might work for their dietary needs.

“I might see a resident with an upset stomach, who’s looking for a warm meal for example. I can go over some options such as our daily, scratch-made soups,” Grant explains.

While it was a passion for cooking that drew Chef Grant to Overlake Terrace, it’s the relationship he’s developed with residents that has made his role even more rewarding.

“I’m really lucky to have a job that lets me get close with the people I cook for, I wouldn’t have this in a typical restaurant because I don’t get the chance to see the same people every day,” Grant reflects. “It’s also helped me improve the meals we have because I can get direct feedback from residents.”

If you’re looking for some independence in your life, it might be time to call Overlake Terrace home! To learn more, visit them online or schedule a tour today.
