Despite tying for 4A Kingco’s best record with an 8-2 record and 24 points, the Redmond soccer team does not have a chance at winning the Kingco championship because it loses the tiebreaker with Juanita for the Mountain Division crown.

Justin Kopak went 3-for-5 with three doubles as Redmond defeated Franklin 14-3 in a five-inning 4A Kingco baseball game on Friday at Rainier Playfield in Seattle.
Hillary Barker has pitched in twelve games this season. She has struck out 144 hitters, nearly two strikeouts per inning compared to just four base on balls and 19 hits.
Matt Burrows pitched five strong innings and Marcus Flynn hit a key double as Redmond survived a scare from Juanita, beating the Rebels, 2-1, in a 4A Kingco baseball game on Wednesday.
Redmond sisters Lan Fen and Ira Kaplan each had several personal records at the Paralympic Trials in Minnesota April 3-5.
