Redmond sisters shine at state gymnastics competition

Madison and Samantha Podlucky, two Redmond sisters, both won all-around gymnastics titles at the Washington State Gymnastics Championships in Auburn.

Madison, a 14-year old who attends Northshore Jr. High, not only won the Level 9 (out of 10) all-around championship, she also won two Washington judges awards for outstanding performances on vault and floor at the March 28 competition.

Not to be outdone, Samantha, a 12-year old who attends Sunrise Elementary, went out the following day and won the Level 7 all-around championship and won the judges award for most outstanding performance on bars and vault.

Both girls attend Leading Edge gymnastics Academy in Everett.
